Viaduct Harbour is located on the waterfront of Auckland’s central business district, about ten minutes walk from Queen Street. The main entry is via Hobson Wharf on Quay Street, however access can also be gained via Customs Street West, Market Place and Halsey Streets. See below for parking in the Viaduct area.

Located in the heart of Auckland City, Viaduct Harbour is a first class residential, commercial and entertainment precinct.

The marina caters to commercial vessels, pleasure craft and super yachts with 150 marina berths ranging in size up to 60 metres. New Zealand’s largest marine service precinct, Westhaven, lies a short walk or boat ride to the west.

Viaduct Harbour hosts many fabulous events including the past America’s Cup defences, Louis Vuitton Regattas, the Volvo Round the World Race stopover March 2012, the Auckland International Boat Show and New Zealand Fashion Week.

Visitors can explore New Zealand’s rich maritime history at Voyager Maritime Museum, cruise the harbour on a charter yacht, view the yachts berthed in the harbour and enjoy the world class hospitality at the many bars and restaurants that line the waters edge.

Viaduct Harbour Marina Auckland City

In the heart of Auckland City on the CBD waterfront surrounded by superb restaurants, bars, hotels and apartments, the Viaduct marina provides 150 berths for superyachts, local and visiting pleasure craft, tourist and charter boats.

Berths range in sizes up to 60 metres.

Berths are equipped with potable water, single and three phase power supply and sewer pump-out connection.

Vessel Servicing

New Zealand’s largest marine service precinct, Westhaven, is just 500 metres to the west of Viaduct Harbour. Here dozens of marine businesses provide the goods and services required for vessel maintenance and refitting.

Haulout and Shipyard

On the eastern shore of Westhaven Marina, one mile by sea from Viaduct Harbour, hardstand and shipyard services are offered by Pier 21 with a 50 tonne travel lift  and Orams Marine Services with a 60 tonne travel lift and a 600 tonne slipway. Also in Westhaven Marina, Floating Dock Services (09 379 0934) are able to lift vessels up to approximately 18 metres and 20 tonnes.

Marine Fuel

Orams Marine (10 minutes by sea) and Bayswater Marina one mile to the north both provide diesel and petrol  24 hours a day from a floating dock.
