Forrest Hill is a suburb of Auckland.
Forrest Hill was under the local governance of the North Shore City Council, which amalgamated into Auckland Council on 1 November 2010. The population was 5,283 in the 2006 Census, an increase of 372 from 2001. Recent news of a proposed minimum security prison in the suburb has been met with strong opposition by local residents.
